Sophie and Santa

We had some photos taken of Sophia at the studio that did my maternity pictures. Everyone got a couple of these poses in the Christmas card that we sent out, but I wanted to display them on the blog as well. Apparently the studio uses the same Santa every year...it'll be fun to watch her grow with him. He looks so authentic. The first pose is our absolute favorite! She looks like such an angel (at least to us she does).
We wish all of our friends and family a very Merry Christmas!

What a classic pose!

Cute picture, but Sophia looks like she's flipping off Santa, and he looks like he's been hitting the eggnog.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm so thankful for my wonderful husband, whom provides for his family in every way possible, and for our family and friends, for all the love they give to our baby, and to us. I'm thankful that we're all healthy, and employed. Thank you, God!

We started our Thanksgiving off at my mom's house. Ate there, then later that evening went to my dad's house, and ate again. Then back to my mom's house to have dessert and visit with Jeremy and Lisa (Robert's son and daughter in-law). We're still full, but we had a great time!

Sophia's 1st Thanksgiving.

At my dad's...Jesse, Laura's niece, has a baby, Josiah, he's 3.5 weeks older than Sophia. They're looking at each other for the first time. Can you believe how much hair that baby has?! He's such a little man.

Back at my mom's-Jeremy, and Lisa.

Smiles, sleeping, and thumb sucking

My brother is using his hand as a blanket. Isn't that the cutest look on her face?

Sophia smiles nonstop at Papaw.Grandma, Papaw, and Mandy (Robert's daughter)

She's discovering how to suck her thumb. It's so cute.

It's always feeding time

This is what a baby with a full tummy looks like.

Lots, and lots, and lots of LOVE...

This baby makes my 6'5" brother weak in the knees. He loves his niece.

Auntie Kelly kissing her.

Aunt Heather cooing at her at grandma's house. Notice -grandma bought a crib for Sophia, and her hopeful future grandchildren. More pictures of Auntie Kelly kissing the baby.
Daddy loves his baby.

Lisa, Robert's daughter in-law. She's such a sweet girl, and loves Sophie.

Thank you Rob, and Cari, for the cute outfit.
Isn't this a cute handmade onesie of a piggy? Gigi got it for her.

Helpers

Steven was out of town for the week...Here are some pictures of all the people that came to help me while he was gone.

Nonnie stayed Monday night with us. Thank you, Nonnie!

Auntie Kelly spent the night. She was a big help.

My friend, and neighbor, Terry, came over several times during the week to help us out. She's so wonderful!

Spa day

Sophia has had several spa days with her grandma. How many babies can say they've been massaged by a professional?
