I am getting bigger each day

It has been a fun week so far! Sophia is discovering how her hands work, and is not happy when they are in gloves. She has been eating like crazy, and she has been a little fussy. She is finding contentment in rocking in her swing lately. Chelsea and I are working together well as a team. She does all the work and I do nothing. No I am kidding, I have taken over Nana's duties in the AM and trying to live up to her standards of cooking! The key word is trying. I am learning about what certain cries mean which is not an easy task.
Papaw bought her a OU outfit, and a blanket so we had to wear it during the game. Grandpa got to see her for the first time this week and that was a special moment for us all. Aunt Lexie and uncle Aaron came over and Aron ask to feed her.

God blessed us with the best present anyone could ask for, our healthy Sophia. Thursday night nana babysat for us, so we could go out to a wonderful restaurant for dinner. If anyone knows Chelsea, she loves Sea Bass and it was on the do not eat list during pregnancy. Well the fish was moved back to endangered list, so she did not get to have it for dinner. However, she did get a diamond and sapphire pendent, the birth stone of Sophia. Yes I am a whipped man!

Nana, thank you for all your support and love these past few weeks. You helped make this new addition to our life much easier. You dove right in and helped us get through a tough time. Do not worry we won't let Sophia forget her nana!

We had our 2nd Dr. visit today and got clean bill of health. She is now 8lbs 6 oz. and 21.25 inches long. She is growing at a good pace, eating like crazy and the Dr. said I am very healthy. We have to take her to the hospital for a her final screening after we take Na Na to the airport. That goodbye will for sure have tears for us all.

We are doing wonderful as a family. We have had many wonderful cards, gifts, and meals sent or delivered from everyone, and we thank you all for your kindness. Look for our announcements to be sent out soon, they are on order. Sophia is sleeping better, and we are starting to get into a routine. Chelsea is doing great as a MOM! Which I never had a doubt!! Everyday we see Sophia do something new that makes us all smile. Yes I am a proud Daddy!

She definitely is my child. When we were at the Dr. on Tuesday they weighed her and she has put on 4 ounces from the birth weight. Now, that is after she lost some weight before we left the hospital. She is not just a good eater she is a monster eater. The birdy mouth is open wanting food every 2 hours and if you don't have my baby princess food ready watch out! She is eating at least 2.5 ounce per feeding and at night sometimes more. NaNa can't keep up with the bottle washing. For those requesting pictures of Chelsea with her, they are being taken today.
